Institutional accreditation from the Catalan University Quality Assurance Agency (AQU)

In July 2020, the Barcelona GSE completed a three-month certification process of the Internal Quality System that outlines how our institutional processes are organized and how we measure their outcomes. A total of 34 internal processes were accredited by AQU, the public agency entrusted with the assessment, accreditation and certification of quality in the universities and higher education institutions in Catalonia.

Top 100 QS Ranking for Economics & Econometrics

The Barcelona GSE maintained its ranking in the Top 100 institutions worldwide for Economics and Econometrics. The ranking is based on institutional reputation and research impact in the subject area.

Three recruiting events gave students the chance to learn first-hand about jobs, companies and selection procedures in specific sectors. Students also received invaluable tips from alumni during the panels organized at the beginning of each event.

Career Services produced a white paper, “COVID-19 and the job search: a snapshot,” which included qualitative comments and quantitative data from 60 partner companies and organizations that regularly recruit Barcelona GSE Master’s graduates. They presented the main findings to students via webinar and also made the full paper available to the public.

The support of prestigious companies and institutions enables the Barcelona GSE to offer tuition waivers based on academic merit to outstanding students applying to any of its master programs.
Thanks to these sponsorship agreements, students received either full- or partial-tuition scholarship awards.

36% of students across all of the master programs received some type of funding in 2019-20.

Summer School will return in 2021

The 2020 edition of the Summer Schools was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. Summer School 2021 is scheduled from June 28 – July 16, 2021.
